This itinerary is part of the series of itineraries included in the Piedmont regional cycling network (promoted by Fiab - Italian Federation of Friends of the Bicycle), and of the BicItalia 15 route, the Italian cycling network that crosses all the regions. It follows the north-south direction from the Canton of Ticino in Switzerland to the Riviera dei Fiori in Liguria, passing through an extraordinary succession of landscapes and historic cities, the rice fields of the Vercelli plain, the hills of Monferrato, Roero and Langhe, up to the olive groves of the Ligurian hinterland and finally to the sea.
