Finally, thanks to the electric bicycle, it becomes possible to discover the treasures of the Turin hill without too much effort and rediscover atmospheres that we thought were lost: on the northern side the woods furrowed by small but impetuous streams, the stately homes, the parks, the chapels; on the southern side the soft slopes, the orchards, the meadows and the farmhouses, a peasant world that still survives. And the panorama of the city stretched out at our feet with the circle of the Alps that frames it will appear to us in all its splendor.

Program 1 : San Mauro, Superga and Mongreno
We start from Sassi and following the cycle path along the Po we reach San Mauro, the ancient Pulcherada. We gently ascend to the delightful hamlet of Rivodora, the place of strawberries, then continue until we reach the basilica of Superga, a symbol of Turin, whose history we will recall, enjoying the splendid view of Turin. Then we will take the panoramic road of the Hills, passing through the middle of the Superga Park. After a short descent, we will climb again along a quiet road to the oasis of peace of the church of San Grato in Mongreno. After Villa Ottolenghi with its park, a little further down and then we will take the last climb that leads to the sunny slope where the Cavallerizza, a former military school that also hosted Cavour, and the former Beria Grande farmhouse are located, in an incredible landscape between orchards of an ancient farmhouse a stone's throw from the city, where we will grant ourselves a refreshing stop and a nice toast.

Program 2 : from Cavoretto to Moncalieri
The itinerary includes Cavoretto, a delightful holiday resort of the early 1900s where Parco Europa is located, with its extraordinary vegetation including the beautiful avenue of Mediterranean pines; the mysterious Roc Santa Brigida, the small church of Madonna della Neve and the Castelvecchio, an imposing manor of 1037; the castle of Moncalieri, a UNESCO World Heritage royal residence and the elegant Piazza Vittorio Emanuele. From there you reach the Po and follow it along its banks through the Vallere park. A stop for a small outdoor aperitif will conclude the route in style.

Program 3 : The Maddalena hill and surroundings
Following quiet roads, partly dirt, we will reach the highest point of the Turin hill located within the most beautiful of the hillside parks: the Remembrance Park, immersed in the greenery of the Arboretum, rich in more than 400 botanical species. From the top of the 715 m of the Colle, at the foot of the Victory Lighthouse, we will toast to the city stretched out at our feet and allow ourselves a moment of pleasant refreshment. We will then descend towards Cascina Bert, where Napoleon stopped in 1805 to observe the city from above and plan the great transformations that would change its face and we will make a short visit to the Sacrario di Pian del Lot which commemorates the sacrifice of 27 partisans. Finally, the church of San Vito, in a splendid position and the homonymous park with its gentle slopes that descend towards the city.
